Tankerman PIC-D/L

Coast Guard regulations have changed drastically since the passing of the Oil Pollution Act of 1990.

Any applicant who successfully completes this 40-hour Tankship Dangerous Liquid course will satisfy the training requirements of 46 CFR for Tankerman endorsement as follows:

46 CFR 13.209 Tankerman PIC endorsement
46 CFR 13.309 Tankerman Barge endorsement
46 CFR 13.409 Tankerman Assistant endorsement
46 CFR 13.509 Tankerman Engineer endorsement
46 CFR 10.227 Satisfies the renewal requirements for MMD endorsed as Tankerman PIC;

AND the Tankerman familiarization, oil tanker and chemical tanker training requirements of paragraph 1-21 of Section A-V/1 of the STCW Code.
